Winter Wine Fest 2024 VIP Experience, sponsored by Octapharma

Our VIP Experience allows you to become a winemaker for the day and learn to craft your own Red Blend! Four Red Wines will be sampled, and based on your notes, you create the blend that best suits your pallet! This experience will be led by professional Sommeliers and feature wines available for purchase through the Boisset Collection.

Cabernet Sauvignon aged in new oak                                   Merlot

Cabernet Sauvignon aged in neutral oak                              Cabernet Franc

A blend’s flavor is hard to predict, which is why winemakers do not simply follow pre-set recipes. Weather conditions vary each year and from vineyard to vineyard, creating tastable differences in the fruit. Each year winemakers must taste all of the vineyard lots for each of the grape varieties separately in order to assess what they have to work with as components and to arrive at that year’s final blend.

The VIP Blending experience will begin promptly at 5pm to take advantage of the full hour before Winter Wine Fest opens its general tasting booths.
