We have a great event planned for our 2019 couples retreat! 10 couples will come together and attend an amazing evening. This workshop explores different types of intimacy and offers communication tools and practical ideas to cultivate a rewarding, enjoyable connection with a partner. Followed by Dinner a show and a 1 night at The D Las Vegas.

UNDERSTANDING VON WILLEBRAND DISEASE
Developed for those with vWD or interest in learning more about vWD. Did you know that von Willebrand disease is the most common inherited bleeding disorder? This HELLO TALK program provides an educational format to introduce the symptoms and types of von Willebrand disease, recognize potential treatment options, and learn how emotional and community support systems can help those living with this bleeding disorder.

¿Sabías que la enfermedad de von Willebrand es el trastorno sanguíneo hereditario más común? Este programa de HOLA PLÁTICA ofrece un formato educativo para describir los síntomas y tipos de enfermedad de von Willebrand, reconocer las posibles opciones de tratamiento y saber cómo pueden ayudar los sistemas de apoyo comunitario y emocional a las personas que viven con este trastorno sanguíneo.

Northern Nevada Family Camp Education Weekend is free of charge and provides families affected by bleeding disorders an opportunity to bond with their families and peers. Participants will have a chance to meet others in their home state that are experiencing some of the same health issues, helping them to develop a stronger support network.
• Take “Family Camp Challenges” throughout the weekend for a chance for your family to win a prize
• Education sessions on setting educational expectations, parenting children with bleeding disorders, tools for self-advocacy, self-infusion workshops, and more.
• Special day camp for kids ages 5-14 on Friday & Saturday.
• Family Swim, Bingo, Bowling & BBQ!

The Northern Nevada Tahoe Family Day will be held at the Nevada Beach Campground and Day Use Pavilion. This event is for immediate family members only. Lunch will be provided and we will have Kayaks and Stand up Paddles available. Space is limited to the first 40 RSVPs.

Nevada Beach Campground and Day Use Pavilion is located on Bittlers Rd, Zephyr Cove, NV 89448, 2 miles east of the California-Nevada state line, on Highway 50. Parking is first come first serve. Please make sure to bring a towel and sunscreen!

Route: River Mountains Loop Trail

36 Mile Ride: 7 AM
14 Mile Ride: 8 AM
7 Mile Ride: 9 AM

Bikes in Your Blood offers riders at any fitness level the opportunity to participate. The start/finish line will be from Equestrian Park South in Henderson, NV and the course will span the River Mountains Loop trail in Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The River Mountains Loop Trail is Nevada’s first endeavor of its kind.This non-motorized trail provides Nevada residents and out-of-state visitors with an outdoor recreation area offering scenic views, plentiful wildlife and the vast beauty only the Mojave Desert can offer.

The 3 routes for Bikes in Your Blood were designed for riders of all experience levels. Beginner cyclists will enjoy a short scenic ride while experienced cyclists will find a longer more challenging ride on River Mountains Loop. Bikes and helmets not provided. All routes run along cycling friendly roads.

Registration is FREE but donations are encouraged! If you donate at least $25 you get an exclusive Bikes in Your Blood t-shirt!
