The Nevada Chapter's Teen Programs are designed to give young people the skills, tools, and confidence they need to successfully transition to a productive, pain-free, and independent future. Our teen programs challenge young adults to learn more about themselves,overcome obstacles, and build new relationships.

Age 14-17 (Fri, July 8 - Tue July 12 2022) 10 Nevada teens will be joining teens from the San Diego County Hemophilia Association for a four night/three day medically supervised rafting trip on the south fork of the American River. Complete details on the Teen River Rafting Camp will be shared soon. Visit ETC's Facebook to learn more about their programming that makes the joy and challenge accessible to people with disabilties. Space is limited. Airfare and transportation to the CA river camp site is provided (Approx. 2 hours drive from Reno), as well as all food and equipment. Campers bring clothing.

Teens Only Programs:
Age 13-19 (Throughout the year) Teens are encouraged to sign-up for the teen programs offered during the virtual family conferences held throughout 2021. Teens will have a special teens only session featuring topics and activities that are chosen with input from the Teen Leadership Council.
Teen Leadership Council:
The Council is open to any teen or sibling that is affected by bleeding disorders. The Council meets quarterly, plans activities for teens, helps set the education goals for the teen programs and brainstorms ways to connect teens in the bleeding disorders community. Age 16+ We know you need hours for school and the Chapter needs help! Contact the Chapter if you are looking for volunteer hours. Please contact us at least 30 days before your hours are due to schedule an appropriate service project.
